The Pledge of Allegiance brings people together…doesn’t it?

I had to share this link. I went to PBHS, and I now wonder if that’s a good thing. People need to remember that Americans came from all over the world. We can still honor this country while honoring our own heritage. I am German, Russian, Irish and Polish – and I am proud to be ALL of those. I have friends from all over the planet, and I see them as my friend. I don’t understand what’s wrong with that. There are those that say that the Pledge of Allegiance should only be said in American because we are American and not “other.” I completely disagree…and will do so till the day I die! Unless you are Native American, you are “other”, as well. Why not celebrate your entire heritage? Excuse me while I have some matzo and soda bread. Happy Sunday!
